WARNING
Risk of electrocution due to live com-
ponents.
In case of incorrect connection, the
housing of the luminaire or the wire
ropes may carry electric voltage and
cause severe injuries.
X Have the luminaire connected by a
skilled electrician only.
X The luminaire must be connected to
a mains supply with protective earth
conductor.
X Connect the grounding cable
mounted on the holding plate to the
protective earth conductor terminal.
NOTICE
Material damage caused by wrong
mains voltage.
Damage or destruction of the luminaire.
X Compare the mains voltage with
the nominal voltage and the fre-
quency specified on the rating
plate and make sure that they are
identical.
NOTE: Do not use a phase-cut dimmer.
The luminaire can be dimmed via Touch-
DIM or DALI.

X Connect the grounding cable at the
connection side of the luminaire to the
protective earth conductor terminal,
see Fig. 16.
X Connect the terminals to the mains and
the cables for the switch or DALI bus.
For this purpose, observe the circuit
diagrams, see chapter 14 "Circuit dia-
grams" , page 38.
