Measure height
Measuring heights < 1.22 m
You can measure height using the integrated measuring rod.
CAUTION!
Injury from incorrect position of the measuring flap
Injuries may result if the measuring flap is at patient height when folded
out.
► Ensure that the measuring flap is positioned well above the pa-
tient's head before the patient steps onto the weighing platform.
1. Ensure that the upper telescopic element is in its lowest position.
2. Release the head slide by pressing on the lock and moving the head slide
downward.
3. Fold up the measuring flap until it engages in a horizontal position.
4. Ask the patient to stand under the measuring flap and to stand up straight.
5. Push the head slide down until the measuring flap is in contact with the pa-
tient's head.
6. Read off the measuring result below the head slide (read-off edge 1) (in this
case: 108.2 cm).

► Make a note of the measuring result.
► Enter the measuring result on the display unit

7. Ask the patient to step off the weighing platform.
8. Fold down the measuring flap.
9. Push up the head slide until it engages in the lock.
