6.1.b.b - Cleaning the oven
WARNING
Daily cleaning must be carried out at the
end of each working cycle.
DO NOT use metal utensils, such as scour-
ing pads, brushes, scrapers and/or any type
of detergent to clean the baking chamber.
DO NOT use jets of water on the oven parts.
- The cleaning operations must be carried out after
pulling the plug from the mains socket and with the
oven completely cold.
- Remove any incrustations on the metal belt using a
brush.
- Then clean the internal surfaces using a moist cloth
without any detergent; once the baking residues have
been removed, spread a thin film of Vaseline oil on
these surfaces.
- To clean all the other surfaces of the oven, always use
a moist cloth without detergent.
- Unscrew the knobs (5) on either side and remove the
crumb collection plate (6). Clean the plate with a moist
cloth and refit it.
To clean the refractory slab, operate as described below
(Fig. 2):
- Remove the fastening knobs (1) on either side.
- Remove the cross pieces (2) of the lower hood.
- Remove the strips (3) holding the refractory slab (4)
and remove any residues. After cleaning, refit every-
thing in reverse order from removal.
