9.4 Condensation run-off
Condensation is formed during heat recovery
that has to be correctly extracted through the
condensation run-off (see Chapter 9.5,
Item F).
 Release the 2 quick-release clips and open
the front door.
 Remove the front cover (7 screws), see
Chapter 6.3.1.
 Lengthen the ¾" condensation drain hose
correctly (extension hose to be supplied by
customer).
Water seal head
min. 50 mm
 Connect the extension piece with the
condensation run-off connections and
a siphon.
72
The siphon (see figure) needs a
NOTICE
water seal head of at least
50 mm. Install an open drip
funnel with another siphon at
the drainage system, to
receive the condensation. This
disconnects the ventilation unit
from the drainage system and it
prevents a build up of germs at
the unit.
It is not permitted to install

several siphons one after the
other without duct separation.
 If there is high humidity in the room where
the unit is installed, insulate the drain hose
and the condensation run-off connection to
avoid condensation.
 Now pour water into the condensation run-
off in the ventilation unit. Check that the
connection is not leaking.
 Fix the front cover in place and close the
front door, see Chapter 6.3.1.
