5. Operation
5.1 Room air controls
The ventilation unit can be operated with a
room air control. Suitable installation sites
for the room air control are, for example, a
central position in the living room or in a
corridor. The ventilation unit can be combined
with:
● Room air control RB-ZF4 (standard)
● Digital room air control RB-D1-ZF4 (option)
5.2 Operation with room air control
RB-ZF4
5.2.1 Switching on the ventilation unit
Press the ▲ button.
LED 1 flashes regularly at short intervals.
The fans in the ventilation unit start up. The
ventilation unit switches from standby mode
into interval operation (humidity protection
with fixed, defined cycle times; approx.
17 minutes on, approx. 13 minutes off).
5.2.2 Setting ventilation level
Higher ventilation level: Press the ▲ button
as many times as necessary for the
required ventilation level LED to light up.
With each press, the ventilation unit switches
to a higher level. Ventilation level 1 /Interval
operation -> Ventilation level 1 /Continuous
operation (reduced ventilation) -> Ventilation
level 2 (nominal ventilation) -> Ventilation
level 3 (intensive ventilation)

Lower ventilation level: Press the ▼ button
as many times as necessary for the
required ventilation level LED to light up.
With each press, the ventilation unit switches
to a lower level: Ventilation level 3 ->
Ventilation level 2 -> Ventilation level 1/
Continuous operation -> Ventilation level 1/
Interval operation.
5.2.3 Switching off the ventilation unit
Press the ▼ button as many times as
necessary for all three LEDs to be switched
off and no longer flash.
● The fans switch off. The ventilation unit is
in standby mode.
If the switch-off function is deactiva-

ted, the ventilation unit cannot be
switched off, see Chapter 5.2.4.
5.2.4 Ventilation levels
