6.3.2 Cleaning the condensation run-off
and siphon
Switch off the mains fuse at the fuse box.
Position a visible warning notice at the fuse
box to avoid the unit being accidentally
switched back on.
Release the 2 quick-release clips and open
the front door.
Remove the front cover (7 screws),
see Chapter 6.3.1.
Remove any deposits from the condensa-
tion tank and/or the draintube. Flush the
tube out using sufficient water.
The siphon must be filled up with water.
Otherwise infiltrated air is sucked into
i
the ventilation unit through the drain
tube.
Fix the front cover in place (7 screws).
Close the front door. Lock it in place with
the two quick-release clips.
Switch the main fuse on and then switch on
the ventilation unit at the room air control.
Fill the siphon up with water after
i
longer dry periods. For example, in
autumn, before starting the ventilation
unit up again.

7. Faults, Messages
7.1 Filter change display
● With the room air control RB-ZF4, the LED
of the selected ventilation level flashes
regularly at longer intervals.
● Filter change is displayed at the RB-D1-
ZF4 room air control.
Change the air filter as described in
Chapter 6.2.
Reset the filter change period counter back
to zero at the room air control by reference
to Chapter 5.2.5 or the separate RB-D1-
ZF4 controller instructions.
7.2 Fault displays
● Call on the services of a trained
electrician if there is a fault.
● Repairs should only be carried out
by a trained electrician.
The room air control RB-ZF4 indicates a
fault when all three LEDs are flashing. The
cause is either a "fan failure" or a
"temperature sensor fault".

7.2.1 Deleting fault messages
only with room air control RB-ZF4
Press the ▲ button for about 5 seconds.
If the fault is not rectified, the fault message
appears again after about 1 minute.
This can be deleted a maximum of 3 times.
Remove the ventilation unit from the mains
power briefly for further deletion cycles.
