General
Carving Stations are designed for ease of operation. Use the
following information and procedures to operate the unit.
WARNING
Read all safety messages in the IMPORTANT SAFETY
INFORMATION section before operating this equipment.
Startup
1. Plug unit into a properly grounded electrical receptacle of
the correct voltage, size, and plug configuration. Refer to
the SPECIFICATIONS section in this manual for details.
2. Move the Power I/O (on/off) toggle switch to the I (on)
position.
• The ceramic elements and display lights will energize.
CAUTION
BURN HAZARD: Some exterior surfaces on unit will get
hot. Use caution when touching these areas.
3. Turn the infinite heat control to the desired setting.
NOTE: Turning the control knob clockwise will increase
the temperature setting. Turning the control knob
counterclockwise will decrease the temperature setting.

4. For GRCSCLH models with a heated base:
a. Move the Power I/O (on/off) rocker switch to the I (on)
position. The base heating elements will energize.
b. Turn the thermostat control to the desired temperature
setting.
NOTE: Turning the control knob clockwise will increase
the temperature setting. Turning the control knob
counterclockwise will decrease the temperature setting.
5. Allow the unit 30 minutes to reach operating temperature.

Shutdown
1. Move the Power I/O (on/off) toggle switch to the O (off)
position.
• The ceramic elements and display lights will shutdown.
2. For GRCSCLH models with a heated base:
a. Move the Power I/O (on/off) rocker switch to the O (off)
position. The base heating elements will shutdown.
