4 Cleaning, care and maintenance
4.1 Cleaning and care by the user
Regular cleaning of the combustion chamber, in particular the
burner trough, of the exhaust gas flues and the ash pan, is essential
for fault-free operation of the pellet fireplace.

● Always carry out cleaning while the pellet fireplace is cold!

● Do not clean the pellet fireplace with water! Water pene-
tration can bridge contacts and cause a short circuit and/or
electric shock!
● Use only a suitable ash vacuum!
● Do not use aggressive cleaning agents!
Necessary activities
● Visual inspection of the burner trough for waste
accumulation
● Scrape residues out of the burner trough
● Check connector for possible rust and ash deposits
and clean it
● Clean the combustion chamber
● Visual inspection (the ash pan should be max. 3/4
filled)
● Cleaning the flue gas draughts
● Clean the glass panes
● Clean coated surfaces
● Visual inspection for surface damage
● Clean the pellet reservoir, remove wood dust/pellet
dust, otherwise these may block the screw conveyor!

How often?

Daily
ū No tools required
● Open the inspection door.
As required
● Unlock the lock below the firebox door and open the firebox door.
● Remove the burner tray and scrape out any residues.
Regularly, min. 1 x

● Remove the burner trough for cleaning of the combustion chamber.
As required
● To clean the ash box, open the inspection door.
Daily
● Release the ash box lock, pull out the ash box to the front and empty
the cooled ash. (See also the warning notice above)
● Operate the cleaning slide 3-5 times.
Once a week
● Then pull out the ash box to the front and vacuum out the draughts in
the right and left corners underneath the ash box compartment using
an ash vacuum cleaner and a pointed nozzle.
● Repeat the procedure if the stove is very dirty.
● Wet a slightly damp cloth with cooled ash and remove dirt, wipe with a

clean cloth (repeat the process if necessary).

ū We recommend cleaning the coated surfaces with a slightly damp mi-
crofibre cloth while they are cold because they are very sensitive.
