6.3. Transport
The following adjustments need to be car-
ried out to prepare the ARTROMOT®-K1
for transport:
1. Adjust the carriage to a femur length
of 49 cm and a tibia length of 42 cm.
2. Activate the "transport setting"
function" in the menu (also
refer to 5.3).
3. Turn off the ARTROMOT®-K1 power
switch.
4. Disconnect the power cord and the
control pendant.
5. Only use the original shipping box to
transport the device. ORMED GmbH
cannot be held liable for transport
damage, if the device is not shipped in
its original shipping box.
6. Set the ankle joint to the horizontal
position.

7. Put the foam parts

8. Then lower the ARTROMOT®-K1 into
the box.
9. Fold down the block
the frame and insert the foam part
for the angle joint.
10. Then adjust the carriage to a tibia
length of 50 cm so that the ankle joint
will be fixed by the foam part

11. Put the control pendant (20) in the
supplied small box.
12. Fold down the fixation element
for the control pendant and store the
control pendant in the box.
