Do not install a damaged product. Return damaged products together with
the delivery documents. See
3. Prepare required accessories, materials and tools.
6.3.2 Implementing safety measures
Procedure
1. Do not carry out any work on the system during preparation.
2. Close off dangerous areas.
3. Make sure the system or system part is not under pressure or voltage.
4. Protect the system against being restarted.
5. Allow product and adjacent system parts to cool down.
6. Wear PPE.
6.4 Mounting the product
6.4.1 Mounting option: Assembly on mounting plate
Procedure
1. Place product on mounting plate.
NOTICE! Incorrect handling can irreversibly damage the sensitive electronics.
Do not tilt the product (material protection).

6.5 Connecting the electrical system
Notes
• Observe the documentation of the control.
6.6 Connecting pneumatics
Notes for channels R, 3 and 5
• Leave channels without separators open on at least 1 side and close only 1
side if necessary.
• Leave channels with separators open on both sides.
6.6.1 Connecting supply lines
Procedure
1. Screw the push-in fittings into the base plate, if not already present.
WARNING! Use a separate tool for screw connections with a thread size of
1/8" for hoses with a diameter of 8 mm. See
materials and tools:

2. Seal push-in fittings with Teflon tape if not yet sealed or if reassembled after
disassembly.
3. Connect the supply lines to ports 1, 3 and 5.
4. Fix the supply lines close to the port. The first 5 cm in front of the entry must
be straight.
5. Close off all unused ports.
6.6.2 Connecting pilot air
Procedure
1. Connect the pilot air to port X.
2. With 8 or more valves: Increase the supply using supply modules. See
g 16. Accessories.
3. Use the marking on the base plate to check whether the pilot air is controlled
internally via port 1 or externally via port X.
4. If necessary, switch over the pilot air. See
6.6.3 Switching over the pilot air
Procedure
1. Release the fastening screws of the pilot air cover.
2. Remove the pilot air cover.
3. Turn the pilot air cover by 180°.
4. Refit the pilot air cover.
5. Check for firm fastening.
6. Screw the pilot air cover tight.
Tightening torque: 0.2 Nm
7. Seal unused port X or 1 with a separator. See
6.6.4 Connecting the pilot exhaust
Procedure
1. To reduce exhaust noise and air pollution, collect exhaust at ports R, 3, and 5.
2. Connect pilot exhaust to port R.
3. Fit ports R, 3 and 5 with silencers if the exhaust air noise reaches unacceptably
high levels. See
g 14 Technical
4. With 8 or more valves: Increase exhaust using exhaust modules. See
cessories.
6.6.5 Defining pressure zones
1. Seal port X with a separator.
ð Pilot air is turned off.
2. Seal ports 1, 3, and 5 with separators.
ð Pressure zones are isolated from each other.
