Error handling
CenTIG 200 has a sophisticated built-in self-protection system. The
machine automatically stops the gas supply and interrupts the welding
current.
Selected errors:
Gas control fault (IGC)
A gas control error can be due to too low or too high gas flow.
Check that the pressure of the gas flow is higher than 2 bar and lower than
6 bar during operation, corresponding to 5 l/min and 27 l/min.
Correct the gas error by adjusting the manual gas flow to 27 l/ min. Reset
the the gas error by briefly pressing the
Note! it is important that the stated gas supply can be maintained during
welding.
Torch cooling fault
Cooling fault is indicated on machines in
case of insufficiant circulation of the cooling
liquid due to faulty connection, defective
parts or choking. Check that the cooling
hoses are correctly connected, top up the
liquid container and check welding hose
and branches.
If the coolant viscosity is reduced due to
low temperatures, the Migatronic standard
coolant must be exchanged with 99290515
BTC-20 NF coolant, which is characterised
by its extremely low conductance and high
viscosity down to temperatures at -17°C.
Flush the system before adding new type of
coolant.
The cooling fault is cancelled by pressing

shortly on the
-key.
