Press the head release button and at the same time lower the mixer head by
hand. (Fig. 5) Then release the button and the mixer head is locked. (Fig. 6)

Insert the power plug into the mains supply outlet.

Turn the speed control to the desired setting to start the operation. (Refer to
the "Speed Chart and Maximum Capacities" table.)

You do not need to remove the splash cover to change tools or adding
ingredients. You can add ingredients through the spout of the splash cover.
Note: Always set the speed control to "0" if you want to interrupt operation,
and disconnect the plug from the mains if you want to change the tool. Wait
for the tool to stop completely when changing tools or adding ingredients.
10. If mixtures get stuck in the tool or the motor stops, switch off the appliance
and unplug. Wait for the tool stops moving, then press the head release
button to tilt the mixer head and locked at raised position. Remove the mixture
from the tool or reduce the amount of ingredients in the bowl. Press the head
release button to lower the mixer head and lock it. Let the motor cool for 5
minutes before switching on the appliance again.

12. After the motor and the tool have completely stopped, press the head release
button to tilt the mixer head.
13. Remove the tool and then the mixing bowl.
14. The mixture can now be released with the help of a spatula and removed
from the mixing bowl.
NOTE: As a good practice, do not operate the appliance longer than 6
minutes as it may trigger the overheat protection. Never overload the bowl. If
the unit stopped when mixing heavy mixture, then switch off and allow it to
cool down for 15 minutes.

Always keep an eye on the result when you whip or mix foods as the desired
result can be reached very quickly.

Switch off the appliance before adding ingredients. Always add ingredients
thru the opening of the splash cover and as close to the sides of the bowl as
possible, not directly to the moving tool.

Use Pulse function to incorporate more air into the mixtures, great for
whipped cream or egg whites. Turning the speed control to "P" on and off until
the mixture is combined. Do not overmix, since that would dispel the air.

Mixtures that contain a large amount of liquid should be processed at low
speed to avoid splashing. Do not increase the speed until the mixture
has thickened.

To fully incorporate the ingredients, switch off the appliance regularly to
scrape down ingredients from the sides of the bowl with a plastic spatula. Any
unmixed ingredients left on the tool or sides of the bowl should be carefully
folded in using a spatula.

Solid ingredients, such as nuts, raisins or candied fruits, should be added in
the last few seconds of mixing. The batter should be thick enough to keep the
fruit or nuts from sinking to the bottom of the pan during baking. Sticky fruits

Use cold ingredients for pastry unless your recipe states otherwise.
