CARE AND MAINTEANCE

Before cleaning:
- Always turn the speed control to "0", disconnect the appliance from the
power outlet and let it cool down to room temperature;
- Empty the mixing bowl and the blender jar;
- Disassemble all removable parts.

Always clean the appliance and its accessories immediately after each use so
food won't dry on them.
•
Do not use any sharp or abrasive detergents.
•
Wipe the main unit and power cord with a damp cloth after each use, then rub
it dry.
Note: Never immerse the main unit and the power cord in water or any other
liquids, or place them under running water.

Mixer cleaning:

Wash the dough hook, beater, whisk and splash cover in warm soapy
water. Rinse them then dry. The tools are not suitable for cleaning in the
dishwasher. If exposed to heat or caustic cleaners, they might become
misshapen or discolored.

Wash the mixing bowl in hot soapy water, then dry thoroughly. For pre-
approx. 10 seconds. Dispose of the liquid, wipe with a dry cloth.
Note: Never use a wire brush, steel wool or bleach to clean the stainless
steel bowl. Use vinegar to remove limescale.

Wipe off the shaft on the mixer head frequently to remove any
accumulation of residue.

Blender cleaning:
Rinse them then dry. You may unscrew the blade base to clean the blade
thoroughly.

If food sticks to the wall of the blender jar or blades get stuck, use the
spatula to remove the food from the wall of the jar and use a brush to
remove the food that is blocking the blade. Then rinse them under running
water. Leave it upside down to dry. Make sure the cutting edges of the
blades do not come into contact with hard objects. This may cause the
blade to get blunt.
Note: Blades are sharp. Handle them carefully to avoid injury.

For a quicker and easier way to clean the blade on the blender jar,
inserted to the jar. Put the jar onto the blender outlet. Turn the speed
control to "P" and hold until the jar is clean. Switch off the blender and
unplug. Detach the jar and rinse it with clean water. Leave to dry upside
down.

Meat Grinder cleaning:

If meat leak out around the outlet on the mixer head, clean it and wipe
with a well-wrung cloth.

Wash each part of the meat grinder in warm soapy water and a soft
sponge. Rinse them then with clear water, and then dry them with soft
cloth or paper towel immediately. Don't wash any part in the dishwasher.
Never use a soda solution.
Note: Leaving the parts wet after cleaning may cause corrosion.

Allow the appliance and all accessories to be dried thoroughly before
reassembling or storage.
•
When the appliance is not used, store it in a safe & dry place out of reach of
children after cleaning and wiped dry.
