OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
Design and function
Atlas Copco pusher legs of type ALF 72D, ALF
72D-1, BMK 62S, ALF 67/80D and BMK 91RS
are used with light rock drills of type BBD and RH.
ALF 72D, ALF 72D-1 and ALF 67/80D are used
together with BBD 94W and are double-acting with
an automatic return. BMK 62S is used together
with RH 656W and needs to be retracted manually.
ALF 72D, ALF 72D-1, BMK 62S and ALF 67/80D
are equipped with a one-stage cylinder. ALF
67/80D is equipped with a two-stage cylinder.
BMK 91RS is used together with BBD 94W and
is equipped with a one-stage cylinder with an
automatic return. Cylinders are made of aluminium
except for BMK 62S and BMK 91RS which are
made of steel. The pusher legs are connected
to the rock drill by a special attachment device.
Recommended air pressure is 6 bar.
The pusher leg support is for helping the operator
to lift and feed the rock drill during drilling
operations.

machine
Signs and decals that are important for your safety
and the care of the machine are included with each
machine. New decals can be ordered using the
spare parts list.

used for the first time.
E.The CE symbol means that the machine is
EC-approved. See the EC declaration which is
delivered with the machine for more information.
If the CE symbol is missing, it means that the
machine is not EC-approved.
