Defrosting
The refrigerator compartment defrosts automatically.
Freezer compartment
After a long period of operation, a layer of frost or ice can build up
on the walls of the freezer compartment. This increases energy
consumption.
• Pull out the plug or switch off the fuse!
• Wrap the frozen food in paper or blankets and store in a cool
place.
• Leave the appliance door and the freezer compartment door
open when defrosting.
• After a defrosting time of approx. 20 minutes, the layer of frost
or ice can be detached from the interior container by hand and
removed.
• After defrosting, mop up the remaining water and clean the
appliance.

flammability hazard due to leaking refrigerant.
Do not use any mechanical devices or other

recommended by the manufactur er.
