Electrical connection
The unit must be fully isolated from the mains power supply before all maintenance and installation work and
opening the terminal compartment! The electrical connections must be carried out in accordance with the
relevant wiring diagram and must only be carried out by qualified electricians The electrical connection must
be fully isolated until the final assembly!
A main switch is included in the unit's scope of delivery, which can be secured against unauthorised activation with a
U-lock.
The unit is equipped with a main switch and an isolator which is secured against unauthorized switching with a U-lock.
The relevant standards, safety regulations (e.g. DIN VDE 0100) and the technical connection conditions of the local
electricity supply companies must be observed.
The electrical connection of the unit takes place directly in the terminal box (in the unit) or at the main switch.
The controller AIR1-BE ECO or AIR1-BE TOUCH 2 (not included in scope of delivery) is connected to the unit via a
control wire. The controller is delivered with a 5 m long cable, but 10 m or 20 m long cables are also available. The
maximum controller cable length is 100 m.
In accordance with standard EN 61000-3-2, the units should be classified as "professional equipment". The connection
to a low voltage supply is permitted in so far as this has been agreed with the energy supply company.
Please check the connection diagram The unit might require a separate secondary PE connection Make sure
that the conenction is properly done acc to connection or wiring diagram
Install the protective conductor in a way that eliminates any possibility of mechanical damage
The following circuit breakers are recommended:

The units are designed to comply with the respected standards' leakage current limits however because of the
building structure the leakage current may differ from the limits
The table below contains the RCD type and rated residual current based on the designed limit leakage current of each
unit:
