Regulations - Guidelines
If the product is installed correctly and used according to its intended purpose. conforms to all applicable provisions
and CE guidelines at its date of manufacture. The Helios AIR1 XVP.. ventilation units are compliant with the applicable
ErP Directive 2018 (Ecodesign Directive).

Area of application – Intended use
AIR1 XVP.. units are energy-saving, fully automated, low-noise and ready-to-operate ventilation units with heat reco-
very. The AIR1 XVP.. are designed in 5 different models and according to volume flow rate requirements up to 3500

/h. There is an ePM1 55 % class filter on the outdoor air side and an ePM10 50 % class filter on the extract air side
as standard.
AIR1 XVP.. units are equipped with highly energy efficient, low-noise and power-saving fans. Fans with EC motors
can be operated with 3 fixed speeds, or variably using the integrated intelligent controller with the help of an air quality
sensor.
AIR1 XVP.. units are equipped with cross counter flow heat exchangers, in which the heat from the extracted air is reco-
vered and transferred through the plates to the outside air, so that both air flows remain separated. This process allows
more than 80 % of the extract air heat transferred to the outside air depending on respective operating conditions.
The supply air is transported to the primary (supply air needing) areas via the duct system. The used air is extracted
from the secondary areas (such as social rooms, toilets, showers, etc.). It flows back through the ducting to the venti-
lation unit, transfers the heat and is discharged by the exhaust air duct to the atmosphere.
HELIOS AIR1 XVP.. units are only intended for the handling of air and performing the following jobs:
• Filtering normally polluted air
• Air heating and/or cooling (with accessories)
• Heat recovery
• A combination of the aforementioned functions
The intended use also includes observance of the operating manual and the manufacturer's instructions for the indivi-
dual components, as well as the inspection and maintenance intervals stipulated by HELIOS.
The units are produced to be located in areas where there is no public access.
