Central ventilation units AIR1 XVP
Timer priorities (highest priority first):
• Timer Boost
• Timer Normal or VOD (higher ventilation requirement)
• Timer Reduced
• Timer Recirculation
If the set timer times overlap, e.g. if the "Boost" timer and the "Normal" timer are programmed for the same time, the
timer with the higher priority will be activated and the ventilation unit will be operated at the "Boost" ventilation stage.
Special features in case of simultaneous programming of recirculation timer and VOD timer:
• If the VOD timer and recirculation timer are active at the same time and no air quality sensors reach the sensor limits
(Boost ventilation), the unit will switch to recirculation mode.
• If a connected sensor reaches the sensor limit, the recirculation mode will stop and the unit will run in sensor-con-
trolled operation (VOD).
• If the sensor signal reaches the sensor limit, the unit will switch back to recirculation mode.
• The recirculation mode will not work if the reduced, normal or boost timers are running at the same time, since it
has a lower priority.
c Holiday
Up to 24 separate holiday periods can be set for a whole year.
Set holiday calendar:
• Log on as User or Admin
• Call up the "Timer settings" menu
• Holiday according to programme "Set daily/weekly programme". The ventilation unit always runs pursuant to the-
holiday settings during holiday periods

413 Sensor-controlled operation (VOD - Ventilation on demand)
The sensor-controlled operation function (Ventilation on demand = VOD) must first be set in the commissioning assis-
tant.
The sensor-controlled operation only works in "Constant volume flow mode" or "Constant speed mode". The sensor-
controlled operation function can only be activated using the VOD timer.
The sensor-controlled operation is only used to achieve improved room air quality. In this respect, the use of air quality
sensors (AIR1/KWL-CO2 0-10V, AIR1/KWL-FTF 0-10V, AIR1/KWL-VOC 0-10V, AIR1-CO2 K) is required. This mode
can also be used for multiple connected sensors. A signal converter (AIR1-SK) must be used if more than 3 sensors are
to be connected. The sensor with the highest ventilation requirement determines the ventilation operation mode.
