4.3 Inserting the Impactor
1. Insert the Impactor into
the adapter in accordance
with the instructions for
use.
2. Insert the assembled
adapter into the tube
holder by pulling on the
end of the tube holder,
inserting the adapter into
the bottom of the holder
and clamping it fully into
the tube holder.

4.4 Measurement
Explanation using a 4-way measuring device.
The following applies to all tubes and Impactors:
CAUTION
The Impactor and tubes must be used in the tube holders
indicated accordingly in order for the measurement to be
performed correctly. When inserting tubes, ensure that the
direction of flow is correct. Only use Dräger-Tubes that are
suitable for the system (see chapter 11 on page 45). Do not
breath in the gases that escape during the measurement. Risk
to health.
NOTICE
Do not remove the foil from the Impactor until after the
measurement.
1. Insert the open tubes and the assembled adapter into the
tube holders.
2. Open the valve for the compressed air supply.
3. Complete the measurement according to the specifications
in the instructions for use for tubes and Impactors.
4. Close the valve of the compressed air supply. Immediately
remove the tubes from the mount. Analyze the results
using the tube's instructions for use. Remove the
assembled Impactor adapter from the tube holder and
release the Impactor for reading by pressing down the
black ring.
5. Read the water vapor tube first.
