Lock the column to stop it rotating using the corresponding pivot (Fig. 5.8, no.1), then turn the handle (2) on the crank (4) with
automatic brake anticlockwise until all the telescopic sections enter the first section.
Lower the column fully before tilting it to the horizontal position.
Important
Release the lower safety lock (Fig. 5.8. no.3) by pulling it, and lower the telescopic column simultaneously using the crank handle
with automatic brake (Fig. 5.8. no.5), then release the safety pivot and guide the column down.
NB: before returning the column to the horizontal position, check that the lights are not inclined.
Insert the column's safety pin (Figure. 5.4).
Raise the front and rear stabilisers using the handle and bring the stabilisers to their rest position.
Do not touch the lights once the column has been lowered after use. There is a risk of burns.
