Starting the machine
1.
Prepare the machine as shown in the previous paragraph.
2.
Turn the parking lever (24) to position (24a).
3.
Drive the machine to the working place by pushing it with the hands on the handlebar (2).
4.
Connect the power supply cable (10) to the electrical mains.
WARNING!
Before connecting the power supply cable to the electrical mains, check that frequency and voltage, shown on
the machine serial number plate (1), match the electrical mains voltage.
5.
Turn the knob (5) to the suitable program.

fi tted carpet cleaning and fl oor wiping (optional)
6.
Turn on the machine by pressing the switch (6) and start cleaning the fl oor.
Stopping the machine
7.
Turn off the machine by pressing the switch (6).
8.
Disconnect the power supply cable (10) from the electrical mains.
9.
Lift the brush/pad-holder by turning the transport/parking device (24) to position (24b).
MACHINE OPERATION (SCRUBBING/DRYING)
1.
Start the machine as shown in the previous paragraph.
2.
While keeping both hands on the handlebar (2), move the machine and start scrubbing/drying the fl oor.
CAUTION!
To avoid damaging the fl oor surface, do not use the brushes without the solution and, when the machine is not
operating, stop the brush/pad-holder by pressing the program (5c or 5d), or by pressing the switch (6).
CAUTION!
Before lifting the brush/pad, turn it off by pressing the switch (6).
MACHINE TRANSPORT/PARKING
To transport/park the machine, proceed as follows.
1.
Turn off the machine by pressing the switch (6).
2.
Disconnect the power supply cable (10) from the electrical mains and place it on the holder (7).
3.
Push the machine with the handlebar (2) and keep the brush/squeegee-holder deck slightly lifted.
4.
Lift the machine and turn the parking lever (24) to position (24b).
TANK EMPTYING
Use the transparent cover with vacuum grid (15) to check if the recovery tank (16) is full.
CAUTION!
If the recovery tank (16) is not emptied when full, the vacuum system ejects the excess of liquid through the air
outlets, thus dampening the fl oor.
When the recovery tank (16) is full, empty it according to the following procedure.
Recovery tank emptying
1.
Turn off the machine by pressing the switch (6).
2.
Disconnect the power supply cable (10) from the electrical mains and place it on the holder (7).
3.
Drive the machine to the appointed disposal area.
4.
Lift the brush/squeegee-holder deck and turn the parking lever to position (24b).
5.
Check that the solution tank (14) is not full, otherwise perform steps 9 to 11 and following.
6.
Open or remove the solution tank (14a or 14).
7.
Open the transparent cover (15) and remove the recovery tank (16).
8.
Open the recovery tank drain plug (19) and empty the tank.
Then, rinse the tank with clean water.
