1.7 Calibration instructions

The scope of these instructions is Germany.
In other countries, the compliance to national laws shall be checked.
German Federal Weights and Measures Regulations require:

... be put into service, used or provided only, if they are approved. «
This means that non-approvable or uncalibrated scales may be used for merely internal
weighings (control weighing).
According to the legal regulations, approved scales must be recalibrated at regular intervals.
For this purpose, please contact a Soehnle Professional service center or your local Office of
Weights and Measures. Do not damage the official seal, otherwise the calibration validity
expires.
