Only use the fume extractor to
extract weld fumes. Do not use
the fume extractor to extract hot
gases (above 140 F/60 C),
wood or cement dust, engine ex-

haust, liquid vapors, explosive
materials, aggressive fumes
(acid), fumes from burning ob-
jects, or fumes from cleaning,
cutting,
painting, flame spraying, sand
blasting, or other non-welding
operations.

Power Switch
Use switch to turn unit On and Off.

Filter Monitoring Light
Light indicates if filter is dirty or collec-
tion hose is blocked. Stop welding and
clean or replace filter when light goes
on or whenever air flow is too low to ex-
tract fumes. See Section 7-2 for filter
cleaning information.

Air Flow Control
Use control to adjust air flow (suction)
for the application. Turn control clock-
wise to increase air flow; turn control
counterclockwise to decrease air flow.

reduce air flow to desired level.
