6.2. AUTOMATION INTERFACE DECRIPTION

The N1 interface distinguishes the following signals:

Installation configuration in automation level N1
When the N1 automation mode is enabled:
MMA and TIG menus are no longer available
A specific page to the automation level N1 is added to the MIG menu SETUP
ARC START (RI) and START CYCLE (DCY) signals are enabled
Only specific automatic welding cycles are available
You can activate the automation N1 and the mode of functioning of the RI output in the menu: Configuration>Installation>General.
The choice of active level for DEFAULT signal is defined in the menu: Configuration>Installation>Default.
DIGIWAVE III
Setting of the default wire speed by pressing the manual wire advance speed button on the
Wire Feeder.
Setting of the opening time of the gas valve when the user presses the gas purge button on
the Wire Feeder.
Setting of the network status 5.
Network configuration: DHCP or manual entry.
Management of the network hosts.
