Improper repair work and modifications to the product may lead to serious injuries and damage to the device. The
product warranty will be rendered invalid if the device is handled by unauthorised persons.
• Operating, maintenance, cleaning and repair work may only be carried out by qualified personnel (in Germany see
TRBS 1203).

Risk of burns from hot coolant and hot surfaces.
• Switch off the cooling unit before starting maintenance, servicing, assembly, disassembly or repair work.
• Wear protective gloves.
Please observe the attached "Warranty" document. In the event of any doubts and/or problems, please contact your retailer
or the manufacturer.
NOTICE
• Please also consult the operating instructions for the welding components, such as the power source, welding torch
system, re-circulating cooling unit etc.
Fault
TIG cold-wire feeder is not
ready for operation.
Wire is not fed.
No welding arc.

overheating.

Cause
• Main switch off.
• Mains connection interrupted.
• Motor defective.
• Motor control card fault.
• Power supply to the workpiece or torch
interrupted.
• Power source or control system fault.
• Control lead interrupted.
• Inadequate coolant flow.
• Welding current too high.
• Coolant hose or liquid-cooled power cable
constricted or sealed.
• Tungsten electrode loose.

Troubleshooting
• Switch on the TIG cold-wire feeder.
• Connect to the mains.
• Switch off the power to the system and
replace the motor.
• Replace the motor control card.
• Close the power circuit.
• Repair.
• Replace.
• Check that the coolant recirculator is
working and performing correctly.
• Reduce.
• Check the flow and replace if necessary.
• Tighten using the back cap.
