6 Putting into operation
1 Open the cover on the TIG cold-wire feeder.
2 Fold both of the pressure levers (1) forwards and open the pressure rolls (2).
3 Untie the start of the wire from the wire spool and deburr it at the front end.
4 Insert the wire through the liner (5) over the drive rolls (4) into the central socket (3).
5 Close the pressure rolls (2) and fold the pressure levers (1) back into the vertical position.
6 Feed the wire through the cable assembly by pressing either the wire feed button on the front control panel or the torch
trigger.
6.10 Replacing the drive rolls
WARNING
Risk of crushing
Hands can be pulled in and crushed by moving wheels.
• Do not reach into moving wheels.

NOTICE
• The drive rolls should be changed whenever the wire type or the wire diameter are changed or the drive rolls are worn
out.
• Always replace/change the drive rolls in pairs.
• Observe the groove geometry and the wire diameter.
If necessary, sever the wire and feed it in again.

1 Switch off the power to the TIG cold-wire feeder and disconnect the mains plug.
2 Open the cover on the TIG cold-wire feeder.
3 Fold the pressure lever (1) forwards.
4 Swing the pressure rocker (5) open together with the pressure rolls (2).
5 Remove the full-floating axles (4) (clipped in).
6 Replace the drive rolls (3).
