3. Start the pkgadd program. Type the following command:
# /usr/sbin/pkgadd -d pathname
where pathname is the path to the SunPCi package; typically, the path is /cdrom/
cdrom0/Product/pkgname. pkgname is the name of the SunPCi package that
corresponds to your locale.
The pkgadd program starts, and displays the following message:
The following packages are available:
1 SUNWspci SunPCi
2 SUNWspcab
3 SUNwspcde
4 SUNWspces
5 SUNWspcfr
6 SUNWspcit
7 SUNWspcsv
(sparc) 1.1
Select package(s) you wish to process (or 'all' to process all

Note that you may see a version number other than 1.1 in your installation.
4. Press Return to accept the default choice (install the SunPCi package), and then
press
y to continue.
The pkgadd program copies the SunPCi files to the /opt directory on your system.
The files are listed on your screen as they are copied. When all the SunPCi files have
been copied, pkgadd displays the following message:
Installation of SUNWspci was successful.
The following packages are available:
1 SUNWspci SunPCi
Select package(s) you wish to process (or 'all' to process all
