11. Set the Shock Absorbers

The manufacturer has already chosen the best settings for the vehicle's shock absorbers; the shock ab-
sorbers usually do not need to be set.
If the shock absorber settings are changed, you must take off the car body.
Proceed as follows:
First switch off the vehicle's speed controller and com-
pletely disconnect the drive battery from the speed con-
troller.
Turn the vehicle around so that the bottom points up.
Remove the 4 screws marked with an arrow in the figure
on the right.
Remember the positions for these and the following
screws (if the screws differ).
Then turn the vehicle back around so that it is standing
on its wheels.
Now remove the screws at the left and right of the vehi-
cle's front; see figure on the right.
Now remove the screws at the left and right sides of the
vehicle; see figure on the right.
Last, remove the screws at the top of the vehicle; see fig-
ure on the right.
