4.3.4.3 Filling the Calibration Bath
OBSERVE MAXIMUM FILLING HEIGHT
When filling, still leave enough space for expansion when heated, displace-
ment by sensors and increase by stirring.
IMPORTANT
For calibrators with calibration bath (TP 3M165E.2(i) and TP 3M255E.2(i)), the
tank must be emptied and cleaned to prevent the calibration insert from jamming.
Empty and clean the tank before inserting another calibration insert.
Unscrew the lid of the tank/ tub insert.
Only for tub insert: Insert the tub insert in the tank using the ex-
change tool.
Place the magnetic stirrer in the tank / tub insert.
Insert the sensor cage.
Insert the devices under test in the sensor cage.
This takes into account the volume of the sensors to be
tested.
Fill the calibration liquid in the tank / tub insert.
Leave enough space for further filling.
If necessary, remove the devices under tests again.
Screw the working lid onto the tank and insert the de-
vices under tests through the working lid into the tank or tub insert.
