(17) By-pass lever – free movement of the rear wheels
The by-pass lever serves to disengage the transmission for the rear wheel drive and is used to push or
pull the machine without using the engine. The lever is located on the rear side of the machine and has
the following two positions:
ATTENTION! The by-pass lever is primarily used to bleed air from the hydrostatic system.
Due to the high demands on equipment, have this procedure performed by a specialised
service centre.
The machine must not be used (gear shifted into drive) if the by-pass lever is in the
disengaged position - there is a danger of damage to the transmissions!
(18) hydraulic circuit oil cooler (only for machines with Vanguard 26 HP EFI engines)
The oil cooler with fan is installed in the hydraulic circuit by the hydraulic transmissions. It serves to
increase the lifetime of the hydraulic system in situations where the machine is mostly operated in
predominantly sloped terrain, approaching the safe slope incline of the machine. The cooler fan starts
automatically after approximately 1 minute of the engine's operation. The voltage in the electrical circuit
must be at least 12.5 V.
