Advice: To prepare for running electrical wires through the downspout, apply a piece of elec-
trical tape to the ends of the electrical wires, this will hold the wires together when you run
them through the hanger bar.
6. Loosen the mounting bolts and nut at the top of the motor housing.
7. Insert the canopy and fan trim into the hanger bar.
8. Remove the locking pin from the motor body and grasp the down tube to slide the downrod
through the canopy.
9. Route the electrical wires through the down tube and pull the top end of the extra slack
in the wire.
10. Install the motor housing bar and insert pin that was previously removed.
11. Securely tighten the motor mounting bolts and nut.
12. Finally lower the trim and rosette on the motor housing.

• Lift the canopy up to the mounting bracket and align the loosened screws on the mounting
bracket with the holes in the canopy.
• Rotate the canopy to adjust it. Reinsert the screws and fix them with a screwdriver.
• Once you have the mounting bracket secured to the junction box you can proceed to hang
the fan.
• Hold the fan firmly with both hands. Thread the bar through the opening in the mounting
bracket and let the ball rest on the mounting bracket.
• Rotate the ball coupling until it lines up with the tab on the mounting bracket.
Advice: Another person should help you hold the ladder and hand you the fan once you've
climbed the ladder.

1. Put the screw washers on each screw before the installation of the apas.
2. Align the holes in the blades with the screw holes in the motor. Once the blade is well
placed, tighten the rest of the screws so that they are fastened.
3. Fit the remaining blades and permanently tighten the screws making sure the blades are
fully seated.
