8 START-UP
WARNING!
Risk of injury due to improper operation.
Improper operation may result in injuries as well as damage to
the device and the surrounding area.
▶ Before start-up, ensure that the operating personnel are
aware of and have completely understood the contents of
the operating instructions.
▶ Observe the safety instructions and the intended use.
▶ Only adequately trained personnel may start up the system/
device.
8.1 Pilot pressure
WARNING!
For control function I: Risk of pilot pressure failure.
The valve stays in an undefined position in the event of a pilot
pressure failure.
▶ To ensure a controlled restart of the device, apply pilot pressure
and activate the medium.
→ Set the pilot pressure according to the type label information
and flow direction (chapter "8.2 Flow direction").
