Symptom
The unit does not start or stop
The foot pedal does not activate the unit
The unit is still activated when the foot
pedal is released
User interface displays an error: there
is one acoustic signal and all LEDs are
blinking
The handpiece does not remain on the
magnetic support
The handpiece does not hold on the
handpiece cord
No water jet coming from the handpiece
No powder/air jet coming from the
handpiece

Solution
•
Check the electrical connections and power supply at the mains
•
Check the fuses on back panel
•
Check main switch function: at least one LED must be visible on adjustments and working mode areas
•
The unit is in "standby" mode, tap on any sensitive zone to exit standby
•
Send the unit to an authorized EMS Repair Center
•
Check that the foot pedal is properly connected
•
Replace the foot pedal
•
Send the unit to an authorized EMS Repair Center
•
The foot pedal is active, check for jam at foot pedal
•
The switch in the pedal is blocked. Turn the unit off at the power switch
•
Replace the foot pedal
•
Send the unit to an authorized EMS Repair Center
•
Powder chamber pressure is too low or too high
•
The air or liquid regulator is switched off
•
Foot pedal and purge commands are not recognized by system. Check connections
•
Install the magnetic support on a metallic part of the unit
•
The support is demagnetized
•
Replace magnetic support
•
Check for presence of the O-ring seal and replace if necessary
•
Replace the handpiece
•
Replace the handpiece cord

Send the handpiece and the handpiece cord to an authorized EMS Repair Center

Check the water supply and water fi lter

Check the water adjustment of your unit

Check the connections between the unit, the cord and the handpiece
•
Check for presence of water at the cord outlet port

Send the handpiece to an authorized EMS Repair Center
•
Check the quantity of powder in your unit
•
Check the compressed air supply and air fi lter
•
Check for presence of powder/air at cord outlet port
•
Eliminate residual powder present in the channels using the cleaning needles provided
•
Perio powder chamber only: remove the diffuser and empty the powder. Blow the diffuser with compressed air before
installing it again and refi lling.

Send the system to an authorized EMS Repair Center
