Fault
The green equipment-on lamp
(3) does not illuminate when
the unit is switched on
No ultrasonic oscillations when
the footswitch (18) is activated

No power supply, power switch

The green lamp is defective
Defective fuse
Electrical fault
Power switch (2) switched

Use the first footswitch setting
with the rocker switch set to

The handpiece hose (8) is in
the handpiece holder (9)
The instrument or file holder
have not been fixed in place

The handpiece of the system
has not been fixed in place

There is liquid in the
handpiece hose (8) coupling
The instrument or file holder is
damaged
The handpiece hose (8) or
handpiece is defective

Remedy
Switch the power switch (2)
ON
Check the mains plug
Check the power supply in the
practice
Send the unit to the EMS service
department
Send the unit to the EMS service

Press on the footswitch firmly
Remove the handpiece (8) from
the handpiece holder (9)
Check that the instrument or file
holder has been fixed in place

air and check the handpiece
