Repeat the operation for "Storing remote controls" (see opposite).
Adding 3-button remote controls

Fit the remote control on the target engraved on the cover:
Continue to hold down the Up or Down

button until the PRoG indicator light flashes
slowly (the DANGER light comes on
while it is pressed).
2 Release the button: the remote control has
been stored.
It is not possible to store more than 16 transmitters. Clear all the remote controls
(see above) and restart the programming process.
Storing a new remote control will clear the previous gate travel programming.
Restart "Programming the gate leaves' travel" (see page 12).

Parameter setting
o Programming the gate leaves' travel.
Somfy electronics automatically stores:
• The cylinder force required to control the gates, in normal operation.
Once this is stored, this enables any abnormal motor effort to be detected.
• The travel distances required to fully open and close the gate leaves with the positions of the
end stops.
To start the programming process, the gate leaves must be closed, stand at a reasonable
distance from the gate and follow the steps below:
• Press and hold the button on the

remote control.
> After a few seconds, the gate opens,
slowly.
* If the gate does not open correctly,
check the cylinder wiring as indicated
on page 9.
• Once the gate is open, press and

hold the button on the remote control
again.
> The gate closes, one gate leaf at a
time.
• Press the same button again.

> The gate opens slowly.
• Press one last time.

> The two gate leaves close almost
simultaneously.
At the end of these 4 steps, the PRoG indicator light goes off, indicating the end of the
gate travel programming procedure.
this cycle must be completed (2 full uninterrupted openings/closings). If there is an
interruption, the process is simply delayed and will start again when the gate is next opened
using the control.
