Electrical connections
n Steps:
o Positioning the electric unit on the pillar.
o Mounting the electric unit on the pillar.
o Connecting the two cylinders.
o Connecting the aerial.
o Connection to the electrical or solar power supply
o Positioning the electric unit on the pillar.
The unit should be mounted next to the power supply input.
o Mounting the electric unit on the pillar.
Place the unit (ideally more than a

metre from the ground) against the
pillar and use the template to drill the
mounting holes:

The unit should be mounted with the cable gland facing downwards.
The cables will feed out from below (as shown in the following illustration).
Slide the electronics into the unit. You

may need to use a little force to secure
them in place. Fix the electronics using
the mounting screw provided:

The cylinders and the electric unit must be connected before the electric unit is connected to the
power supply.

Cylinder M1 actuates the left-hand gate leaf,
which opens first and closes last.

Cylinder M2 is always connected between terminals 13 and 14.
