34. Attach the rudder to the fuselage spine and the fin using glass fibre adhesive tape, and
apply two short pieces of tape to the opposite side to secure the hinges.
35. Mount the heavy-duty servo output arms (61), the rubber grommets and the metal
spacers on the servos. Cut down the output arms and clean up the cut edges as shown
in the following pictures.
36. Glue the rudder servo in the fuselage using UHU-por, positioning the output arm in the
centre of the slot.
37. Lightly sand both ends of the rudder pushrod (3) and glue a metal threaded coupler (62)
to it using thick cyano. Screw a steel clevis (63) on the coupler. Ensure that the
pushrod is inserted to the full depth of the threaded coupler; the same applies to
all other stages which are similar to this procedure.
38. Slip the rudder pushrod (3) through the snake outers, glue it into the second threaded
coupler, and connect the clevises to the servo output arm and the rudder horn.
39. Important: cut two pieces of glass-fibre adhesive tape (28) about 240 mm long and stick
them to both sides of the motor dome; they should be parallel to the outside edges, and
spaced about 15 mm from them.
40. Select two magnets (64) and check that they attract each other, then glue the in-fill
pieces (65) on both sides of them using thick cyano; keep the edges flush. Repeat the
procedure with the second pair of magnets. Mark the magnet pairs, so that you can be
sure they will attract.
41. Separate the magnet pairs from each other, and glue one of each pair in the slots in the
front fuselage former (66) using foam cyano; the magnets should be fitted with the
attracting face flush with the fuselage former (66).
42. Press the fuselage former onto the fuselage framework from the front, and glue the parts
together using foam cyano.
43. Glue the servo mount (46 or 47) to the bottom motor dome reinforcement (67) using
UHU-por, and sand the edges of the motor dome reinforcements (67 and 68) to a 45°
chamfer. Remember to produce two handed pairs (different left and right).
44. Glue the motor dome reinforcements to the fuselage framework using UHU-por and foam
cyano, as shown in the pictures.
45. Glue the plywood motor bulkhead (69) to the motor dome using UHU-por, and apply a 50
mm length of glass fibre tape (28) to the joints to reinforce them.
46. Remove the ball from the ball-link (70) and attach it to the servo output arm using the
machine screw (71).
47. Glue a threaded coupler (62) to the front elevator pushrod 2 (20), and screw a clevis (63)
on the coupler. Fit the pushrod through the central hole in the Duo pushrod connector
(72), and tighten the grubscrew (73) to secure it. Connect the pushrod to the output arm
of the elevator servo.
48. Fix the aileron and elevator servos to the fuselage framework using the retaining screws
