Safety

Observe all accident prevention regulations. Avoid
all hazards due to electricity. Follow all instructions
in local or general regulations (e.g. IEC, VDE, etc.)
and observe any regulations set out by the local
energy supply companies.
1.3.7
Safety
inspection and installation work
The operator must ensure that all inspection and
installation work is carried out by authorised, qual-
ified specialist staff who have sufficiently familiar-
ised themselves with this work by reading the Op-
erating Instructions. Work on the product/system
must only be carried out when the system is shut
down. The instructions included in the Installation
and Operating Instructions for shutting down the
product/system must always be followed.

Unauthorised modification and
spare parts production
Changes may only be made to the product if they
have been agreed with the manufacturer. The use
of original spare parts and accessories produced
by the manufacturer ensures safety. The use of
other parts may exclude liability for any conse-
quences of this use.
1.3.9
Impermissible operation
The operational safety of the product/system sup-
plied can only be guaranteed if it is used properly
in accordance with the Operating Instructions (see
Section 2.1). The values must not exceed or fall
below the limits specified in the technical data.

Spatial requirements

● The setup space must comply with the applica-
ble building control regulations, in particular the
applicable fire regulations in the country of use.
● The setup space must be well ventilated and
protected against frost.
● The condensate pump must be positioned on a
sufficiently large, horizontal, even surface that
is strong enough to hold its weight and easily
accessible for maintenance work.
● Observe the instructions for installation (see
Section 3).

Transport

NOTE!

to the condensate pump.

tected against moisture, frost and me-

temporary storage.
● On receipt of the condensate pump, immedi-
ately inspect it for damage that has occurred
during transport. If transport damage is discov-
ered, the necessary steps with regard to the
carrier must be taken within the relevant time
limits.
● High temperatures may damage the conden-
sate pump. To avoid damage, the product must
be kept away from objects that emit large
amounts of heat.
● The condensate pump must only be trans-
ported and stored in its original packaging.
● If it is necessary to dispose of the product, this
must be done in compliance with the applicable
local legal regulations.

Disposal

In accordance with the WEEE Directive (Directive
on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and
national laws, the condensate pump must not be
disposed of with household waste.
This product should be handed over to a desig-
nated collection point, e.g., on an authorized one-
for-one basis when you buy a new similar product
or to an authorized collection site for recycling
waste electrical and electronic equipment (EEE).
Improper handling of this type of waste could have
a possible negative impact on the environment and
human health due to potentially hazardous sub-
stances that are generally associated with EEE. At
the same time, your cooperation in the correct dis-
posal of this product will contribute to the effective
usage of natural resources. For more information
about where you can drop off your waste equip-
ment for recycling, please contact your local city
office, waste authority, approved WEEE scheme or
your household waste disposal service.
