ENGLISH
4) The hydraulic pipes must be connected correctly to the tractor
distributors following the instructions on each pipe (Fig. 37).
5) Raise the front machinery and remove the feet. In order to
guarantee the rotation of the transmission wheel, adjust the
working height of the machinery from the ground (45÷55 cm
Fig. 38). This distance must remain constant during
operation.
If this height is not observed, the transmission wheel could
lose its grip and the lower part of the machinery could be
damaged by clods, boulders and stubble, etc.
6) In working conditions, ensure that the driving wheel adheres
to the ground. Use the chain rings (C), shown in Figure 42, to
set a travel of about 15 to 20 cm (Fig. 38).
4.1.2 REAR EQUIPMENT
1) Assemble the fertiliser distributor with the flexible tubes and
with the central tubing at the centre of the precision planting
unit if possible.
2) Connect the flexible tubes from the distributor to the
fertilisation parts using the special hose-clips.
3) The machine in the correct operating position, check the
length of the descent pipes: while the machine is operating,
it is important to avoid folds and bends in the pipes which
can lead to their breaking. Adapt them, if necessary, by varying
the length as shown in Figure 39.
4.1.3 CENTRAL CONNECTION
The manufacturer provides a 150 mm diameter rigid tube for
fitting to the tractor (A, Fig. 40). Connect both ends of the rigid
tube to the machinery mounted back and front with the flexible
tube (B, Fig. 40). Avoid creases and folds that could lead to
breakage (Fig. 39).
