3.5.3 BLOWER PUMP CONTROL
Set the working pressure of the system according to the type of
product to be distributed, following the instructions shown in
the following table:
Distributed Product
Normal seed
Small seed
Fertilizer (up to 200 Kg/Ha)
Fertilizer (over 200 Kg/Ha)
If you wish to increase the number of revolutions of the fan for
distributing heavier fertilizers, carefully proceed as follows (Fig.
34):
a) Operate the blower.
- Dependent system: start the distributor of the tractor that
the system is connected to.
- Independent system: start the power take-off of the tractor
at the number of revs envisaged for the system.
b) loosen the handwheel (1, Fig. 34);
c) rotate the handwheel (2, Fig. 34) clockwise or anticlockwise
to reduce or increase pressure and adjust the number of
revolutions of the blower accordingly.
It is prohibited to touch the grain (3) since the hydraulic system
could work to high speed; this can cause the breach of the
motor, the pump or the fan.
Remember furthermore that at the successive start-up of the
system, with cold oil and the position of the regulator untouched,
there will be an initial increase in the blower speed which, once
the right working temperature has been reached, will return to
that set.
3.5.4 OIL COOLING
When using a dependent system it is important to check the
capacity of the tractor's oil tank and whether the cooling system
is sufficient. If necessary have an oil cooler or a larger tank
installed on the tractor by the dealer: the ratio between the volu-
me of oil in the system and the capacity of the tank should be
approximately 1:2.
With the independent system, check the oil level in the tank daily
during the period of use; top up if necessary. Oil tank capacity
(AGIP OSO 32, ISO-L-HM classification) 55 litres.
- Always keep oils and grease out of reach of children.
- Always read warnings and precautions indicated on the
containers carefully.
- Avoid skin-contact.
- After use wash the equipment thoroughly.
- Treat the used oils and polluting liquids in conformity with the
laws in force.
The Manufacturer declines all responsibility due to negligence
and non-observance of these rules.
