DOSING ROLLERS (Fig. 10)
- Large diameter to reduce the number of revolutions and avoid fertilizer load losses;
- High number of cells arranged in a steggered pattern to guarantee uninterrupted
delivery;
Assembling and disassembling the dosing roller
All the dosing rollers are compact units constructed in a single block.
Never fit dosing rollers with screws loosening the handwheel! The radial precision
of the wheels, which are calibrated after assembly, could be damaged!
Always use gloves: after calibration, the new dosing rollers could have sharp edges
that might injure the operator!
As described above, remove the round belt
of the agitator, then screw the handwheel
to the side of the dosing roller (Fig. 11) and
proceed when the machine is completely
empty. Once the fastening knob of the
dosing roller has been released, it remains
connected to the doser casing, in order to
safeguard against it being accidentally lost.
Slide the dosing roller out sideways (Fig.
12) and remove it from the doser (Fig. 13).
To re-assemble, follow the steps in reverse
order.
During the assembly phase, rotate the
dosing roller in the driving direction and
push it into the doser (Fig. 14), until the
drive pin engages in the gearbox (Fig. 15).
To start up the agitator, first fit the belt on
the small agitator disc, then apply
pressure to the lower edge of the dosing
roller and, on the opposite side, rotate the
dosing roller on the handwheel, in the
driving direction until the belt comes off (Fg.
16).
