VI. OPERATING THE GATE
The gate can be operated using two methods:

remote control with four-channel transmitters,
P
wire control using connected buttons.
1. Opening and closing the gate

Opening the gate takes place after pressing the first button on the remote
control or pressing for 0.5 sec. the
10 (Fig. 1).
Closing the gate takes place after pressing any button on the remote control or
pressing for 0.5 sec. button connected to pins No. 7, 10 or No. 8, 10 Fig.1).
NOTE: The gate can also automatically close after
specified period of time set by the installer.
2. Pedestrian gate function
To make pedestrian gate function working, you must activate the desired

function (Look Steering unit programming mode
gate function ) and the steering unit has to be calibrated. The factory default
for pedestrian gate function is to open the gate to the 5 / 16 width of the gate.
For example gate with a length of 4m would be opened to a width of
5 / 16 x 4m = 1.25 m.
Opening the gate with pedestrian gate function takes place after pressing the
second button on the remote control or pressing the button connected to pins
No. 8, 10 (Fig.1).
When the remote control is used (in this example, the remote control number 3)
following messages will appear on the display:

To close the gate press any button on the remote control or press for 0.5 sec.

3. Automatic gate closing
The steering unit has the function to automatically close the gate after
opening. To use desired function it is necessary to activate it (Look

The gate will close after specified time from 6 sec. to 10 minutes. or after
6 sec. after the passage through the gate (breach the barrier - if installed).
If the gate stops and "Automatic gate closing" function is active word
will appear on the display.
Automatic gate closing can be suspended by stopping the gate
using remote control or button. Reactivation of automatic gate
closing function will occur after closing the gate using remote
control or button.
Suspension of automatic gate closing can be also performed by
stopping the gate manually using force. In this situation, the gate
opens and re-try to close. If the third attempt fails the gate will
remain in the position in which it stood. To close the gate, press
the button or use remote control. After closing the gate using
remote control or the button automatic gate closing will be
reactivated.
Suspension of automatic gate closing will also occur after power
loss and return of steering unit's power supply.
Automatic gate closing do not work when the function "HOLD TO
RUN" is activated.
Automatic gate closing function is disabled by factory default.
4. Barrier function
The barrier function secures persons and vehicles within the gate's working
area from being hit by the gate. Breaching the barrier causes reaction
depending on the steering unit settings (Look

There are four operations modes of the "Barrier" function:
1. Breaching the barrier during gate opening and closing stops the gate.
2. Breaching the barrier during gate opening stops the gate. In contrast,
during gate closing is stops the gate and after a moment the full opening is
performed.
3. Breaching the barrier during gate closing stops the gate.
4. Breaching the barrier during gate closing stops the gate and after
a moment the full opening is performed.
WARNING! If there is an obstacle violating the
barrier, then an attempt to move the gate using
remote control leads only to light the light indicator
for 4 sec. and appearance of a number of remote
control used (in this example no. 3) and then the
message "bA" on the display.
