EXTENDED INSTRUCTION OF ST-2 STEERING UNIT
WARNING! The driver is powered from power
network and protected by 6,3 A-F fuse.
Changing the fuse value or type can cause
permanent damage to the driver!
I. DESTINATION
The steering unit is designed to control the gates with ~ 24V installation. Giving
the opportunity to save 60 remote controls in memory (optionally up to 470)
and having wired control (using buttons) the steering unit is perfectly suitable for
use in sealed settlements, guarded parking lots and business parking lots.
II. STEERING UNIT OPERATION
The steering unit starts opening or closing the gate after it receives a signal from
the remote control or a button. The first move after connecting gate, when the
steering unit is not calibrated is carried out with full speed. In order to perform
the automatic calibration the gate has to perform a full opening. Calibration
involves measuring the length of the gate. After completing the calibration, at
50cm before closing or full opening the gate, the steering unit decreases gate
speed in order to reduce force levels on possible obstacle.
Connected to the steering unit light indicator flashes when the gate moves. It
also indicates with 6 seconds advance the start of the automatic gate closing.
Re-calibration can take place automatically when the gate is moved manually
while the steering unit is powered.
