Flip-Up Panel (FS2HAC-4PT only)
A flip-up panel option is available for installation in front of the
bottom two shelves on either side of the four-pan unit. The flip-
up panel provides better temperature control for units installed
in locations with active air movement. Use the following
procedure to install a flip-up panel (the procedure is the same
for either side).
NOTE: When referring to shelf positions in the unit, the bottom
shelf is shelf #1 and the top shelf is shelf #4.
1. Remove and save the pan support screws from the third
shelf pan supports.
2. Align the left hinge bracket for the flip-up panel with the left
pan support screw hole.
3. Insert the left pan support screw through the hinge bracket,
through the pan support, and into the cabinet wall. Tighten
securely.
4. Align the right hinge bracket for the flip-up panel with the
right pan support screw hole.

5. Insert the right pan support screw through the hinge
bracket, through the pan support, and into the cabinet wall.
Tighten securely.
6. Remove one of the hinge screws from the panel hinge at
the top of the flip-up panel.
7. Insert the hinge screw remaining on the panel hinge into
one of the hinge brackets installed on the unit.
8. Align the other end of the panel hinge with the other hinge
bracket, and insert the removed hinge screw through the
hinge bracket and into the panel hinge. Tighten securely.
NOTE: Hatco recommends the use of thread locking
compound on the hinge screw before reassembly into
the panel hinge.
