Tension indicator (page 3, ind. C)
The voltage indicator allows you, by the alignment of
a hole and a notch, to verify that the pre-tension of the
GB
cable is 100 daN.
As long as cable tension is ensured, in case of a fall, all
components of the lifeline will function correctly.

Shock absorber (page 3, Ind. D)
The shock absorber is designed to dissipate the
energy transferred to the host structure by an operator
connected to a lifeline, falling. It can only be used once.
It does not mean that each operator should not be
equipped with a fall arrest system.
Each shock absorber comes with a quick link connector (J).

Cable (page 3, ind. G)
This makes up the EN 795:2012 type C compliant
anchor line, it is sleeved, looped and crimped at one
end in the factory and brazed and ground at the other
end. It is available in 8 mm diameter stainless or
galvanized steel. The cable comes with a corner unit (H)
and a quick link connector (J).

Intermediary anchor (page 3, ind. E)
The travflex™ 2's original design intermediary anchor
allows operator user to move freely without unhooking
from the lifeline or to having to work on the slider (O).
An adequate number of intermediary anchors must
be installed to ensure that there is never a space of
30
over fifteen metres between anchors. When at least
one operator falls on the life line, the anchor latches
in relation to the bracket in order to minimize the
breakaway torque on the host structure. Depending on
the type of installation, the intermediary anchor may be
indexed with respect to the bracket by 45 % in order to
obtain an optimal crossing with the slider.
For installation on a horizontal or vertical plane, the
angles are 90°, 135°.

the end anchors (A) and intermediary anchors (E) on
