Montaggio gruppo paracoppa
Applicare grasso bianco su stelo e sotto testa della n.2 viti speciali
(19).
Operando su entrambi i lati del motoveicolo, posizionare il gruppo
paracoppa (1) accoppiandolo dalla parte posteriore alle piastre
portapedana anteriori (N) e (P) e impuntare le n.2 viti speciali (19).
Applicare grasso grafitato su filetto e sotto testa delle n.4 viti (18).
Introdurre le n.4 viti (18) sul gruppo paracoppa (1), dal lato opposto
inserire i n.4 distanziali (15), orientandoli come mostrato in figura.
Sollevare il gruppo paracoppa (1) dalla parte anteriore portandolo in
appoggio sulle staffe (16) e (17) e impuntare le n.4 viti (18).
Durante l'operazione far scorrere il gruppo tubi drenaggio serbatoio
carburante, drenaggio vaso espansione e drenaggio airbox (B)
nell'apertura (1A) del gruppo paracoppa (1) e riposizionare il tubo
di sfiato (E1) inserendolo al di sotto del tubo ritorno acqua pompa
cilindro orizzontale (H) come mostrato nel riquadro (J).
Importante
Durante il montaggio controllare il corretto posizionamento dei n.4
distanziali con collare (15).
Inserire la rosetta (5) sulla vite (6).
Applicare grasso grafitato su filetto e sotto testa della vite (6).
Posizionare il gruppo staffa centrale (3) fissato in precedenza in
corrispondenza della linguetta (1B) e impuntare la vite (6) sulla
parte inferiore del gruppo paracoppa (1), come mostrato nel
riquadro (Z).

Fitting the sump guard unit
Apply white grease on the stem and underhead of no.2 special
screws (19).
Working on both sides of the motorcycle, position sump guard unit
(1) matching it to front footpeg holder plates (N) and (P) on the rear
side and start no.2 special screws (19).
Apply graphite grease on the thread and underhead of no.4 screws
(18).
Insert no.4 screws (18) on sump guard unit (1), on the opposite
side fit no.4 spacers (15), aiming them as shown in the figure.
Lift sump guard unit (1) from the front side making it rest on
brackets (16) and (17) and start no.4 screws (18).
During the operation, make fuel tank drain pipe, expansion
reservoir drain pipe and airbox drain pipe unit (B) slide inside
opening (1A) of sump guard unit (1) and reposition breather tube
(E1) fitting it under horizontal cylinder pump water return pipe (H)
as shown in box (J).
Caution
During assembly, check for correct positioning of no.4 spacers with
collar (15).
Fit washer (5) on screw (6).
Apply graphite grease on the thread and underhead of screw (6).
Position previously-fastened central bracket unit (3) near tab (1B)
and start screw (6) on the lower side of sump guard unit (1), as
shown in box (Z).
