Free and open-source software

This product contains free and open-source software. For details, see the enclosed DVD "HettInfo II licenses and source
code", the applicable licenses and the source codes, as well as further information.
License terms and conditions regarding LGPL components:
For those parts of the HETTICH software that are licensed under

the "GNU Library General Public License" or the "GNU Lesser General Public License" (LGPL) version 2.1 and earlier
("work"), the customer is expressly allowed to make modifications to the work for the customer's own use and to reverse-
engineer to debug such modifications;
•
the "GNU Lesser General Public License" (LGPL) version 3 and later ("work"), it is expressly allowed to make
modifications to those portions of the library contained in the work and reverse-engineer to debug such modifications.
Further rights of the customer under applicable copyright law are not restricted.
Please note, that those parts of the software which are under free and open-source licenses are distributed free of charge.
Installation information for modified components:
Modified software components, esp. those under the GNU Lesser General Public License version (LGPL), can be installed by
copying the new software component to the storage device contained within the product.
CAUTION: CHANGING THE SOFTWARE OF THE PRODUCT MAY RESULT IN INJURY TO LIFE,
LIMB, OR HEALTH! ALSO IT CAN IMPACT THE CERTIFICATION OF THE PRODUCT AND RESULT IN
NON-LEGAL USE OF THE DEVICE. CHANGES CAN ALSO AFFECT THE WARRANTY.
