When the light is stable or flashing red, the battery must be
recharged before the bicycle can be used. Refer to the battery
section for how to charge.
On the display, the charge level is shown as follows:

c) Assistance level
You can choose between several levels of assistance. Press the
 or  buttons to select the level of your choice. Each level of
assistance corresponds to an assistance mode. The lowest level
is OFF and the highest level is 5:

d) Pedestrian mode
When you are walking next to your bicycle, you
can choose to activate the pedestrian mode,
which is used as a walking aid. This mode activates
the motor even if you are not pedalling, however,
this assistance does not exceed 6 km/h.
Press and hold the Pedestrian
function. As soon as you release the Pedestrian Button, the
walking aid stops.
WARNING: Never use this function while sitting
on the bicycle! Only use pedestrian mode when
walking next to the bicycle.
e) Battery
Press the LED indicator button at the
top of the battery any time to view
the battery charge.
The battery powers the motor of your bicycle, it is placed in a
wheel clamp on the downtube and it is directly connected to
the control box located on the handlebars.
