2 Method of operation and use
When compressed air is applied to the connections alternately, the inner vane
swings backwards and forwards in the housing. This swivel movement is trans-
ferred to the external stop lever and converted into a rotary movement on the drive
shaft. The rotary angle can be limited by adjustable stops for the stop lever.
The pneumatic swivel module type DSMI-... has been designed for rotating or
swiveling work loads which do not have to perform a complete revolution. The
integrated measuring system is intended for monitoring the swivel position (e.g.
for electronic control in conjunction with the Soft Stop SPC11).
