Complete system
S
Slowly pressurize the complete system.
This will prevent sudden uncontrolled movements from occurring. For slow
pressurization when starting, use safety start-up valve type HEL-... or HEM-... .
Individual unit
Carrying out adjustments to the DSMI-...:
Warning
S Make sure that:
- nobody can place his/her hand in the swivel
range of the moveable mass on the DSMI-...
- that no objects lie in this area.
S Make sure that the DSMI-... is only operated
with a protective cap or screen.
Please note
The mechanically set end position may be modified due to operating pressure.
S Repeat the setting procedure:
- under operating conditions
- with modified end position.
Please note
The swivel drive will be damaged if the mass moment of inertia is too high.
S Make sure that the permitted mass moment of inertia is observed for the
different operating modes.
The permitted mass moment of inertia in electronic closed-loop mode consi-
derably exceeds the value of the open-loop mode.
